ABOUT BROWNS PLATING

We are a family owned and operated business that has been in the same location since 1968. Most of our employees have worked here all of their life and are highly skilled in their trade.  We created the desire for chrome in the motorcycle industry back in the late 60's and early 70's when the era of the chopper was born.   In the early 70's we developed a way to chrome plate aluminum when the industry said it could not be done.

In the 21st century we still focus on motorcycle parts but do many other types of parts as well. Other fields that we do plating for are automotive, antiques, art work, boats, classic restorations, music industry, and the river industry.

When it comes to chrome plating we are 2nd to none.  You truly do get what you pay for when it comes to chrome plating.  Our process is a 7 layer plating process unique to the plating industry.  We go beyond any OEM plated part with a specialty developed process giving your parts a high quality long lasting finish.  Our signature process is totally automated to insure the absolute best in plating.  When you send your parts to us for plating we guarantee a custom plating job that's done 1st class.  Because of this our plating lasts much longer than most and we have customers that have parts that we plated over 20 years ago and they still look good.
